today was a wake up call.
i stated yesterday most players aint worthy of a 2 year contract.i stand by those comments
cureton, peacock and o'hanlon were the only decent performers today.
shakes first touch is abysmal, gurney has lost the plot, and nicholas cant pass the ball to save his life.
the rest i aint mentioned were poor-average today.
we have a long way to go yet to stay in this division.
too many people got carried away with this contract business, they still need to earn them yet.

no one was there for the 2nd goal. can't blame just o hanlon for that.  can understand why, but he isn't our defence, there were 3 others.

Rhys Evans was quality today too, he had to work hard with a very sloppy defence. Also, Curo and Peacock both played very well, worked very hard too.

Gurney was a waste of space today. Nico and Migs crap. Curo and Peacock played well, as did Evans.

Was impressed with Rotherham, bearing in mind there position, and compairing them to Gillingham. They were up for it, and wanted it more.

Or was it we were so crap we made them look good.

I Think jame curetons post match interview was spot on.

Like he said we are a long way from safety and its a wake up call to the lads that even though we are on a good run we need to keep picking up points because if we don't we could slip all the way down again.

It was a poor game, all credit to rotherham as they played particulary well in the 2nd half.

I was quite suprised with gurney. His temper got the better of him as we seen today when he got subbed. Walked of down the tunnel in a piss.

Look at the positives though, we are still out of relegation and we can still do it.
We are still a good strong team, and without making excuses we did have a few injurys today. Confidence is still high and I'm sure this would of been a big kick up the ass today so I reckon we can get a good result still next saturday.

Bring on NF !  Cheesy
(oh yes I was not happy as our little flag was on the stratton bank and then a bloody rotherham fan put his bloody flag infront of it! The cheek!)

 :shake:

he and Ifil played well today. Smith and Nico were fucking shit.
because they were rubbish it meant our defence was stretched which put Ifil and O'Hanlon under even more preasure.

Our midfield were non existant. Gurney was awful.

i'm glad this has happend cos it means our team wont become to complacent. Hopefully it is a wake up call to everyone and makes them open there eyes to see we are no where near out of this mess and they need to fight alot harder than they have been of late.

To be fair, I think we have a right to get carried away especially with the god awful performances we had at the start of the season, but I do think we needed a wake up call.

We'll stay up!

Rotherham are on good form. Tbh I didn't expect much (maybe a draw) today becuase of this. As long as we can bounce back and create goals I can't see a problem.
