There was a story in there about the fight in the merlin last week.  Turns out the bar manager has complained to the police about Shaun Hodgetts and BBC Wiltshire sound saying they started it by getting fans to sing football songs.   She's even threatened banning the Wilts sound lot.

"We don't allow singing in the pub because it leads to confrontations with away supporters"

She went on to say there was no trouble in there until the singing, but once that started Bristol City fans who were walking by outside the pub, started throwing bricks at the pub.

There was no mention that they had allowed the dodgy looking City fans in the pub in the first place and if they hadn't been allowed entry there wouldn't have been any trouble.

Sorry fella, no linkage, as I only read it in the freebie "Star" newspaper.  In between the thousands of advertisements in there.

i would say that is more because of idiotic city fans rather than wiltshire sound!
