Great news hopefully fans will now be able to relax and let the manager build a decent squad.

But nothings changed yet?

The manager has committed to the club so despite all the doom & gloom things behind the scenes can’t be as bad as some fans think.

Flynn’s new contract doesn’t mean he’ll stay the term but at least we’d get compensation.

I'm happy he has signed a new contract, because he is a good manager. But it means very little if we aren't able to assemble a squad worthy of promotion because of limitations.

Well he must be happy to stay, that's true. And good.

The rest we'll see over time.

Agreed, him signing a new contract doesn’t guarantee him staying but he could easily have thrown his name forward for the Bristol Rovers job with a good chance he would have got it.

The timing of this is notable, with so many other jobs available in the league. Good news that he wants to stick with us. I wonder if he’s used interest from elsewhere to create a better deal… It’s also interesting that, with rumours circulating of Morfuni/Kiely drying up the funding prior to a potential sale, that they’re prepared to extend the manager’s contract. Perhaps sale rumours were unduly optimistic. 2+2=??

Or an American billionaire is about to buy us (wildly unduly optimistic!)

I really like Flynn, but he’d have been no where near being considered for that job whether he put his name forward or not.

I would take him over Neil Harris and Dean Holden currently 1st & 2nd favourites

If anyone knows Duncan Shearer, get him to have a word in Arthur Blanks ear - Atlanta Utd have a tie-up with Aberdeen, so an English team in Red who need a couple of loan players must surely be handy as well?

Digressing slightly who would you prefer if they were both young and available Duncan Shearer or Sam Parkin🤔
