Now down to 10 men, and was only playing 1 up front at the start.

You sure it wasn't 3?

Flint's been brilliant every time I've seen him this season. Doesn't deserve the stick he gets from some quarters.

Don't mention this to StefPol.

Still a bit numb, but not dejected.  I'm proud of the fight that we put up.  Barring an improbable turn of events, the die was cast at the end of January when Andrew Black decided he had to find the nearest exit and get out by the fastest possible route, regardless of the consequences.  Under those circumstances, to have continued fighting until May 6th was impressive.  I have no idea where we go from here, but today was a respectable - if not a triumphant - end to one of the more interesting seasons we have seen in a long time.

Over to you, Jed.  What's the plan for 2013/14?

Was Williams actually up front? I was at the game and I'm still not sure...
Was Williams actually playing? I'm not normally one for slagging players off but he was fucking dreadful today & has been since he came back from his injury earlier in the season. Haven't seen him play well since Tranmere at home in December. He's a shadow of the player that came on & turned the game against Villa in the cup!!

One positive is that Luongo now won't join us next season. Not that he's a bad player, but it means we won't see Ferry out wide again.  Back in the middle next season for our Simon.  Now when is his contract up?  Oh, bugger...

Granted he scored the goals but Willo was unplayable that game, best game I've seen him have for Town.

Good. Hope they get relegated.

Whilst it won't make up for missing out on Wembley, it will soften the blow somewhat if they go down.

How the fuck Byrne is a pro footballer i don't know. Did us all a favour when he got sent off, Totally one footed and a liability. Awful.
Read bits of the thread during the game and couldn't believe the stick Flint got. Even without scoring he was our best player by a mile.

Interesting summer ahead, 5 scholars getting pro contracts before our fate was even known is a concern.
That said, on todays showing, fighting spirit aside there is a lack of quality in our team so they wont do much worse. For all that money thrown at it that's the poorest side we've ever had in the play offs and were a penalty kick way from Wembley. Weird game is football at times......

Once Williams was replaced by collins that's when we started to play a bit, flint was superb, Roberts was pretty shit Suicide

Fat Robbie Williams (Roberts) was not the signing I hoped he would be.
