I saw a Doctor Brady Barr programme on Nat Geo Wild this week and he tracked down a black mamba in South Africa. He's one of the world's most experienced herpetologists and he was shitting himself.
He said the Mamba was one snake he would never handle and I can see why, they are fricking mental. Where as the King Cobra is large and scary, it is also very docile. The Mamba on the other hand is a psychopath and without anti-venom you will 100 % die in 30 mins!
As opposed to only 50% dying you mean ?
