Saw a documentary a few months ago on the Komodo dragon.
It showed film of how it killed & ate a fully grown buffalo type creature.
They bit it a few times on the legs (AND they can move at upto 25 miles an hour in short bursts so they ain't slow !) It then followed the buffalo for two WEEKS whilst it died & eat it.  They can also swim very well too. Without a doubt this is very hard.

Just voted Komodo, purely beacuse it looks harder than a cuddly bear. There aren't many hard animals in the arctic for it to test itself against either.
