I imagine the City fans enjoyed that Thompson own goal today.
8,560 for a Championship game

Posh have never been a well supported club.
It does show, along with Hull, just how difficult it is for promoted sides to compete in the Championship.

8,560 for a Championship game That was around our average for the late 80's through the 90's when we were last there.

It just shows how corrupt last season was.
Unreal and just makes me so angry. The shite we had, Curran, Pitman and Grounds. Absolutely shite and can only look forward now. A stark reminder on where we were.

True, the 89/90 season was the best Town team in my time supporting the club. Highest league finish, high profile manager, quality football & look at how crap some of the gates were..... http://www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk/Results.asp?Season=1989-1990

5:53 in for anyone wanting a reminder of what we lost...
Respect to the Darlington fans who made the trip. Not so keen on the kit...

Think you may be getting your Darlingtons and Dartords mixed up, Maidstone and Dartford are only about 20 miles apart.

One of their players was not at all happy with him, now imagine your are supposed to be a League one level player with him alongside you.

And this is the trouble that Curran is now going to have, a footballer contracted to a league 2 title winning side, that played in league 1 last season should be head and shoulders above in National League South, yet clearly is probably still playing above where he should be. I can't see him lasting there beyond this season.
