Confirmed a bid in for Rooney, but no idea whether it will go anywhere, and any other sepculation is just that....some more speculative than others....mentioned Macleod by name, but no bids have been made. He also said it makes sense for players on the margins of the squad to look for other employment, and there needs to be a few exits to allow for newcomers.
