Golden opportunity at a progressive club with a big budget and he blew it.
Maybe enough credits in the bank plus the ability to talk the talk, to land another job at L2 level?

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

Replaced by their Academy Manager. Hope he does as well as Luke.
He could'nt do any worse....FACT! Mansfield in the top three for most of the season and then blew it right at the end....disaster....AND let Franchise win promotion...another disaster!

This should result in an instant ban.

Not surprising they let him go - he failed twice given the budget they had. The slap in the face is the replacement - suggesting that Flitcroft was more a hindrance to success than helping it - they are essentially saying some rookie has more chance, meaning they feel Flitcroft devalued their budget.
Bury have a tough season ahead of them, I don't see the point in it, but then I guess it is little difference to us in the Prem season, although League One is not quite the Prem. They already released their Sport Data person I think, as a cost saving measure.

Something tells me that what happens in the PO's to other teams, will have no bearing on our coming season, other than the configuration of the Div. We will then need to wait and see if Power shows any intent, before deciding on our prospects.

Mansfield not going up is a problem for us next season - they will spend again, so you'd have to have them as likely top 3-7 contenders at least.
Tranmere are the ones I'd like to see go-up - they have more chance of sustaining their team, Newport are more likely to drop back again, so you'd prefer them in our league next season.

The fact they’ve appointed their youth coach as manager suggests to me they may be watching the books a bit more next season.

I know its early, but looking at next season the relegated clubs look to have appointed quite well. Bradford - Gary Bowyer Walsall - Darrell Clarke Scunthorpe - Paul Hurst I can see these 3 clubs filling the top 7 next season personally.
