Title: AV Receivers Post by: mystical_goat on Thursday, February 8, 2024, 17:55:43 I currently have a messy setup with loads of wires and adapters in order to link up a TV, projector, BT TV freeview recording box, PS5, Fire stick, & laptop (to play films from), Bose soundbar, turntables and mixer, subwoofer and monitor speakers. I'd like to upgrade.
Some AVRs have 1 HD output but others 2, like this one: https://www.richersounds.com/onkyo-tx-nr696-m3-black.html (https://www.richersounds.com/onkyo-tx-nr696-m3-black.html) Would that enable me to switch between TV/projector via the remote? And can I use the phono monitor out on the back of my DJ mixer to plug into the AVR, meaning I can sell the monitor speakers I've currently got? If you are just doing this for films/TV the the package is good but if you want to regularly play music then you’ll want a pair of full range fronts.. |
