you're miles off mex, the problem is that we are playing too many "one day" players.

take dalrymple- ok he's solid but he's not going to win us anything. you pick your best 11 and thats your test 11- where's monty? we've tried people like bresnan, who never will be good enough, its too early for broad, goughs past it.

pick your best team.

im stuck thinking of a team....ive put blackwell in cause we was our most economical bowler in one dayers last series.

Nah, most ODI sides play the core of their Test team.

We've just got to face facts that we're shite at the One Day version of the game.

 I concur, play the best XI,which surely must be the winning test side. Fletcher seems to be obssesed with the idea of players who can bat a bit and bowl a bit,why not play the players who are good batsmen and good bowlers
Having said that we are playing against a very good Pakistan side, not that it excuses our shiteness :(
I really resent the fact that i haven't bothered at all with the odis this summer, what has been the point?!?!?And i hate the fact that we're not just losing we are being slaughtered

I used to play cricket with a guy called Alan Cock. It was always funny when the scorer shouted out "Bowler's name?" and we replied "A Cock".
