I disagree, for me this forum gives a good indication of the views of this forum, but not of our paying fanbase. the true measure of the views of our paying fanbase (ie the ones who matter) is the voice of the crowd.

The crowd sang for macari, and got him back, the crowd sang for kingy out, and he went.

A few geeks on keyboards can type all sorts of shit on here, but its all meaningless in the real world is all I'm saying.

So basicly you reckon DW is here untill a certain percentage call for his head.
Most of the peeps on here are the paying fan base....and represent a fairly balanced view of all town fans...in my opinion anyway.
Not many geeks tap away on here.

The vibe I get in the town end is that people are losing patience. been like that for a few games now.

I reckon he's here until fitton gets rid of him. If the majority of the cg crowd chanted we want wilson out he'd be gone in a week.
Debatable who is paying fanbase and who isn't, no way of telling. thats the point of paying your money at the turnstile and having your say in the ground.
doesn't matter what is said on here, it isn't reflective of anything other than an internet poll.

Fact is a 3-0 win at Charlton will have us all wondering what the fuss is about Smiley

So we'd get everything we chanted for?

We were just diabolical today, looked nervous in possession throughout the game, as a result we were just lumping it forward and just losing the ball all the time. Anyone see Prutton and Shirtliff having a barney in the 2nd half?

I watched it a few times in slo-mo, Austin did move his arm towards the ball. How the ref saw it though in that split second I don't know.

the most successful clubs have long term managers because the managers are successful, which is fairly fucking obvious really.

Manchester United;' success under Fergie:

    * Premier League (11): 1992–93, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09
    * FA Cup (5): 1989–90, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1998–99, 2003–04
    * League Cup (4): 1991–92, 2005–06, 2008–09, 2009–10
    * FA Charity/Community Shield (9): 1990*, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010 (* shared)
    * UEFA Champions League (2): 1998–99, 2007–08
    * UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1): 1990–91
    * UEFA Super Cup (1): 1991
    * Intercontinental Cup (1): 1999
    * FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2008

Just watched the penalty decision again. It was a penalty. The ref got it right. My reasoning is Austin was far enough away from Smith to react, which he did by moving his arm. It was one of a number of idiotic things Austin did yesterday.

As Sam said, whether the ref saw it or went with a shout is another thing.

But the ref did cost us the game. We may have got what we deserved in the result, but we were unquestionably denied what we were entitled to when he gave us a free kick on the edge of the area when Ritchie was fouled in the area. That penalty may just have given us an undeserved point.

Think our fans have been quite good. Think if any other manager there would have been "xxxx out!" chants by now. I think Wilson is living off the play off final he got us to last season. As others have stated, even in the run up to the play offs we had been off form and it has continued all this season. I have tried to defend Wilson as much as possible, but enough is enough. Have to join in with the rest in saying he must go.

I think the ref was poor but that hid how bad we were, if the ref had been strong or fair i think the Wilson out chants could have started yesterday. The free kick was defintely a penalty the ref just made the descion from where Ritchie landed not where the foul happened, if the ref had been stronger it could have ended 9 or 10 a side.

Ritchie dived, it wasn't a foul.
