So far i have done the following bet, i'm tempted to do a few more, who thinks i have a chance of winning on this:

Liverpool to beat Wigan
Derby to beat Luton
Walsall to beat Bury
Hartlepool to beat Notts County
Swindon to beat Mansfield
Shrewsbury to beat Accrington

Deffo in with a chance of winning, but I reckon the Shrews may slip up against Accy, and theres always the possibility of us not winning!

Betting on Swindon. To win. This weekend. I don't think I could do that.
You're tempting a big pile of steaming fate. Please think of the children.

I never understood the term 'tempting fate'. If fate existed in its true sense it would never need tempting.

Exactly

If you tempt fate/providence by doing something, you take a foolish risk by doing it and depend too much on your good luck.

Well I think you can cause fate to happen, but you can't tempt it, unless fate's name was flammableBen and you waved a freshly poured pint of Guinness in front of him.
