Bloody hell" he says, "No, 3-2" I say, "Bloody hell" he says, "Quite" I say. Then Gerrard falls theatrically, Alonso misses the penalty and then almost sent the rebound over the stand but it just managed to creep into the top of the netting on its way up. Then the rest was all a bit predictable... Dudek pulling off a wonder double save and then saving two penalties - everyone knew that was going to happen. Even Djibril Cisse scored a penalty, despite being a freak. What a delightful evening.
