Just going through some more of the pics from yesterday and found this one.  It does look like McCormack is checking out her behind.

My highlights other than Paolo singing amounted to a tasty Pie Minister offering, an even tastier girl with Mark Scott, and just being on the actual turf (sad, I know!). Think they'd have learnt enough through yesterday to put on better events in the future.

My sister (in Swindon) got this email through on Friday. I'm guessing the club knew ticket sales were poor so had to try to drum up some business.

Quote
Afternoon All,

After a great season Swindon Town Football Club would like to invite you to our end of season party taken place this Sunday.
With the full team, management and board present you are able to purchase tickets to be part of a great day.

Special moments include:
Q&A with Paolo
Quiz and Entertainment
Opportunity to have your photo taken with the League Two Trophy
Gold Package VIP is available at £70
Silver Package VIP is available at £25
Standard entry £10 Adults / £5 concessions

Tickets are available on the day, we look forward to seeing you

All the best

Not being a football fan she didn't really know quite what it was all about, she thought it was some kind of corporate thingamybob she had been invited to in a business capacity. No mention of the bands either, I expect a few people would have been happy to pay a tenner to watch the lightening seeds..... shame they didn't think to mention the biggest booking of the night.

Lucky it wasn't a tattoo really... So have your "last year" principles been as easily erased?

I've heard no mention of the lightening seeds, had everybody gone by then?

They were the only reason I went! Always liked them and never seen them live, I really enjoyed them and thought they were very professional (shame about the sound problems at the start) but they were kind of wasted on this event really.  I guess a lot of people were waiting to hear "3 lions" (which personally I think is one of their weaker efforts) and didn't know much else.

Would happily have paid to see them as a standalone band in Swindon, so consider it a real bargain.

And Pieminister are lovely, got their pie cookbook for Christmas and it never lets me down!
