It was more than bad "luck" that Pope did him and I hope life he will enjoy much better fortune in the future. At least we didn't have to witness the steady crushing of his kernel of promise under super-coach Williams

I am disgusted with this if i am honest, not really the decision not to offera contract but the way the club dealt with his injury once they realized he was not being offered a deal. Fucking disgusting

Basically told to stay away from the training ground and told to do his rehab elsewhere.

I haven't heard any stories about his rehab at all.
Wouldn't surprise me though.

No idea but some pure speculation.... The club would have had some manner of duty to care to him if he were under contract, who has been paying QPR for the rehab there I cannot imagine they would provide it for nothing? If he were London based would make more sense than traipsing up and down the M4?

I agree it would be a lot easier for him to do rehab there, he knows the staff well as he was there for 6+ years as a player, I doubt his rehab would take up much in cost as I doubt he would need much 1 to 1 care it would be a case of them checking his progress and with our "friendly" relationship with QPR that doesn't surprise me at all....but.... The statement (suggestion) that he was told to "stay away" from the club/training ground is not good.

Pope had no involvement in the injury, it was an accidental collision involving Zeli Ismail, a winger. Always amuses me how Pope is repeatedly brought up when he had no involvement what so ever.

Pope should have been banned for 6 matches for that challenge
