Of all the supporters in the world to be right now being a town fan must be one of the best. Yes we are a 4th division team but I'm loving this season more than many in a long long time. Its difficult to imagine one person igniting the passion and desire for football in a town amongst players and fans as much as Di Canio has. Hopefully this is the start of great things for Swindon, lets hope we can keep hold of our manager for many years to come!

Absolutely brilliant day yesterday, what a performance. Definitely getting a few odd looks off the locals at the pub I was watching it in, not sure they were expecting to see a dozen or so Town fans jumping up and down like lunatics on a Saturday afternoon.
Well deserved win and am now eagerly awaiting the draw for the next round later.

I remember when the Bank had a proper makeover in about 1964, that was when that corrugated iron was put up, also new bogs with drains were installed....looked proper nice with its flagpoles and shiny new Deacon's clock. New turnstiles were put up in Shrivenham Road, so you could access both the Bank and Shrivenham Road. The back and bogs have not been touched since... |
