He's technically very gifted, but has no height, pace or power. The question is whether those technical gifts alone are sufficient to justify a place in the team.
I didn't rate him on his performances last season, but then I thought the same about Ritchie when he replaced Ward!

I remember being in the same boat as u with Ritchie, I said to my cousin during one game how we should never have spent 200K on him!!!!! I love it when players prove me wrong!?

Just speaking my mind on Rodgers (as this is the place to do so). He has no pace at all and is outright slow, he has now physical power at all, he can't go past anyone. He has good technique for sure but is a poor mans Kasim essentially. We can't play the 2 in the same team. As i said entirely happy to have him as back up so not got a problem with the contract given to him.

Looks like Wolves have eased their pursuit of Kasim.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33380799 Conor Coady and Jed Wallace, whilst retaining Kevin McDonald (not that one) too.

I like the sound of this Kevin Stewart already: On 1 January 2015, Stewart, along with two other Liverpool reserve players, signed for Cheltenham Town on a one-month loan deal.[7] He made his Cheltenham debut on 3 January in a League Two match against Oxford United. He marked his debut by scoring in the 2–1 victory for Cheltenham. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Stewart_%28footballer%29

Kent is meant to be a very good prospect, skilful midfielder in the Swift mould ability wise but plays wide.

According to Flashheart's FM screenshots he's bloody aggressive.

Would be nice to get an experienced keeper in if possible. Two youngish keepers is a big risk.

Is that just you putting it out there or an informed rumour? Would be a huge signing if true IMO, exactly what we need. Hopefully it might drag out past January also..

Would be good. We sell a player, get the money, yet he still plays for us.
