Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, June 2, 2017, 12:26:43 Postern hill campsite. Good shout. I've been known to put the old tent up in there, do some local walking and go for a few beers in Marlborough. Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: 4D on Friday, June 2, 2017, 12:28:07 I threw up inside a tent there once, due to a "few" beers :)

Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: Wobbly Bob on Friday, June 2, 2017, 16:12:27 I hate the place.
Used to drive through there for years to and from work. Fucking Toy Town. Any excuse to shut the High Street and fuck up the traffic. Fucking Victorian Evening and not one but two Mops. Place needs a flyover not a bypass. I know its not exactly far but we'll both have a drink and well, it's romantic init. We did exactly that for my wife's birthday. I booked a room at the Castle and Ball on the high st. It was good value for money, nice old fashioned place with a decent car park and nice view of the high st. Simple, clean and friendly. I've always loved Marlborough and the surrounding downs. Me and my mates used to drive out to the Green Dragon in the 80s/ 90s as it was fairly lively back then, and always full of good looking posh girls Steins was great too! Have a lovely time Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: Ginginho on Friday, June 2, 2017, 20:51:50 Looking at taking the wife to Rick Steins new plaice in Marlborough Fish puns GO Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: 4D on Friday, June 2, 2017, 20:59:13 Oh cod

Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: Batch on Friday, June 2, 2017, 22:07:23 As Gordon Ramsay said when asked who cooks the food when he's not there...
"the same people who cook it when I am there." Title: Re: Marlborough Post by: Chubbs on Friday, June 2, 2017, 22:32:33 Taking my missus to the original in Padstow in January for a dirty weekend.
