I'm surprised you have time to post on here DV with all your argueing with Bart over on the Football Forums SmileySmileySmiley

However anyone dresses it up, it doesn't look good does it ?

It's not "terminal" yet but if you take out the last 3 league games then the last time we won in the league was August.....This is not the form of a team "on the up" is it ?

It's an easy analogy to make, and may well be very wide of the mark - but look at Spurs.  Their players are the same as a month ago - but getting rid of one manager and bringing another one is is just what it took to shake things up and sort things out....

I am not saying this is the perfect answer - but MM is looking more shaky by the day.  We have had a small resurgence over the past 3 league games BUT if that now dips away what is left ?  There are some very odd team selections going on at the moment, and some even more odd substitutions during games.....Nice to see our "usual" strikeforce get about 9 minutes together last night at 2-0 down for example.....

Fucking hell, what a pointless statement. If you take out all the league games apart from opening day, we're unbeaten.....

Errr. if you take out the games they won then most those other stats would look pretty shabby as well.

You may be right but you have to be 100% sure it is the right thing to do.

For every Spurs there is a Gillingham - bring in a well regarded (but risky) manager but still go down anyway.

It doesn't look good, but I am not sure we are at the sacking point just yet. This and next month is a massive test. Slump back into shit form and it should be game over for Malpas. Carry on up the league and it isn't. The million dollar question will have been answered by then, was the 7 out of 9 points a blip or have we really turned the corner?

I know the League is different and all that, but on the basis of the last two (albeit in cups) games, it's looking like we turned a corner and ran straight into another wall.
