blood sweat and tears win. Fair play to the boys tonight they put in absolutely everything and more.

Let's forget the ownership and manager issues for tonight the boys deserve the plaudits. I cant remember travers making a save for all of the pressure we were under but he was fantastic from corners and free kicks.

those critical of the style- its 3 points I dont care. I would take Sheridan's hoof style for the remaining months if it kept us up. it's the fact he ripped up a passing team and the results remained the same/worse.

every player tonight ran there arses off in terrible weather, on a pitch cutting up in a 6 pointer battle. let's leave off the negativity for tonight atleast.

Post of the thread.
It’s been a shit few days then a Supporter posts this to bring us back to what it’s all about.
Thanks 👍

This is plainly the turning point in the season.

I know you're probably being tongue in cheek/trolling, but one does hope this will give them some confidence to push on.

I'd have left Smith on rather than Pitman but the pork pie's know how (and hard work) paid off.

They've not had one shot on target all night.  Maybe they are awful but tonight at least give credit to everyone involved.

No, I think that things will get better from this point onwards.

If there's a shitter match in the football league this season I hope I don't witness it.

It was terrible wasn’t it.
Mind you I know they have cut the budget on the pitch but that was almost going back to late 70’s minus the sand.

Sheridan
- We deserved to win the game
- We had to grind it out. Like vs Bristol Rovers
- Got edgy when man got sent off
- It wasnt an ugly performance. But its a win.
- Good desire. Performances got us over the line
- Payne and Pittman singled out for praise
- Nice to win
- Conroy: Didnt know if it was a penalty. Ball was up in the corner, not sure how it got to the other end and got us a sending off
- Its not going to be about performances anymore. Its about getting out of trouble
- Its not about individuals. Its about the team. The work ethic was good
- Pittman scored important goal for us. Used his experience. Typical strikers finish. Led the front line
- Would have liked Smith to have scored
- Thought we'd go 442 as it was a game that we needed to go out and win
- I never want to get rid of players.
- DJ had a clause in his contract.
- Shez would have liked to have brought in more
- Only thing on his mind is, not to change team that much, but wants to win a game
- Need more performances where we are tight and keep clean sheets. If you keep clean sheets then you only need 1 goal
- Odimayo came back and played well tonight
- Sending off should never have happened
- When players are here, he wants them to come into training and work hard
- Never going to try to be funny, but when we come out after a defeat then journalists have to ask questions. Shez said he doesnt feel pressure, but he is under pressure.
- Garrick has pace and directness. But, an extra loan makes it difficult for Sheridan.

A clean sheet and up to the heady heights of 19th. 32% possession at home says it all but the only stat that matters are in the goals tally. Didn't sound like a classic!

I'm looking at the bigger picture. We're shit, and our manager is a disgrace.

Why say that tonight?  We deserved it.

But if Curran starts on Saturday, that feeling of optimism might become eroded somewhat

Why say that tonight?  We deserved it.

Because I watched the whole game. In the context of the division we're in. With the options we've got and the style we play. And I concluded we shaded a terrible game against a hopeless team. Then I saw the evidence that our players don't have a shred of respect for their manager, and vice versa.

Sorry if I burst your bubble, but that's where we are. Don't be deceived.
