Even if he comes as number 2 to start with and get an experienced number 1 to start with, in a similar vein to McCormick, someone in their 30s who can nurture the youngster, letting Jojo play in cup games etc at the start and see if he hits a run of form rather than being needed in thrown in at the sharp end straight away.

That would make sense, Joji looks a good keeper

Hopefully the ownership will be sorted ASAP...

Sheridan will have used the same amount of keepers as the amount of games he has won.

SWINDON Town is set to sign Birmingham City goalkeeper Connal Trueman on an emergency loan, according to reports.

The 24-year-old is thought to be close to joining after previous emergency loan goalkeeper, Jo Jo Wollacott picked up a knee injury in the warm up before Swindon's game against Northampton Town on Saturday.

Alan Nixon talking on Twitter again about Brentford’s interest in Twine yesterday...

Twine has said he wants to stay so what’s the hold up on his new contract? Waiting for League One to be confirmed?

I could see Twine doing well at Bournemouth, Brentford, QPR & Reading all local and all good footballing sides.

Reading are waiting in the wings and have been scouting him for certain.

I guess that if we offer him a new contract and he refuses then we will get compensation being he is still only 21.

The compensation figure is made up of severel elements usually a smaller up front fee with add ons for games played etc, so if the teams do not come to an agreement then I doubt we will get very much for Scott from any tribunal probably £200k max plus add ons which could total way more but be over a fairly long time span.

Here is basically what happens.

Smacks of Keshi last year, no concrete answers, just seem to hint towards extending, I'm expecting him to walk in the summer. All this 'he's a Town fan, he'll see us right' stuff is fantasy, he's a football player and until January, he's been shat on by his boyhood club. The current manager is a fucking dinosaur who I'd imagine holds zero appeal of potentially paying for next season.

I'm surprised Power missed this opportunity to make some cash, seems very unlike him. I can't imagine STFC would see much from any Twine deal at the moment anyway so a tribunal with add-ons may be better if Power fucks off.
