That was you!!  Think you were InterYerma back then.  Good to make your acquaintance again, Bob.

That was a cold day.  When was it...2003?

EDIT:  I think it must have been 2003.  Remember telling you about the Scottish girl I met a few weeks before hand...who subsequently became the wife.

That was me, I used to post on Rivals. I was Edinburgh Red on here for a bit until I left the UK!

I do remember that day actually! I drove down a few times to Hartlepool and it was always cold!! Think it was a 2-0 defeat and we were rubbish! Everytime I bring a friend from Scotland to a game we are always minging!!

Ah, so you made the young Scottish girl your wife, congrats!!

That day was my birthday, and a group of us were spending the weekend up in Newcastle.  One of the coldest games I can remember that day.  And I think it was the game Mike Spearman was handing vouchers out to those of us who made the trip to spend in the club shop.

Yep, the 150 or so people who were there got £5 vouchers. Got them again the next time I went!

I want someone who went to hurry the fuck up, get home and post a match report on here. I wish those inconsiderate wankers would step on it.

I agree Dave.

Austin's controlled it, took it away from the nearest defender and dispatched it like a senior pro.

It looked to me like Austin tried to controll it but it came off the defender and he re-acted first.

Even so, it was still a good finish.
