Well I enjoyed that as a night.

We made fucking hard work of it though...should of been out of sight at halftime.

What the fuck has Barker got to do to score? Even I felt for him tonight...

Obika scoring again is a right result...goal machine!

That was fun, should have been out of sight by half-time really, the first ten
minutes had me in mind to create a game titled 'flappy belford'

seems Byrne was tried in a new position for the opening 20 to see how he looked there, decent I think.  must have been a pre-arranged substitution to get by the jpt rules on starters.

Belford, after his shaky first ten seemed to really enjoy the evening, taking the piss in Kasim's absence

two gentlemen in the row in front of me had four quid on us, stoke, I think Southampton and another a away side this evening, all added up to a £1600 win, almost enough to treat everyone in the ground to a pint....

would have liked to have known the Swindon contingent of the crowd?

I read that a really drunken man was escorted out by the stewards, he could barely stand

Just got home in Bath after a few post-match bevvies. Sorry to disappoint but I didn't get escorted out. The stewards were all really sound. Telling us if we managed to jump over the advertising board we deserved to be on the pitch. Had some banter with Belford all game & chatted with him after. Sound bloke. I'd feel if wes got swept away we'd be ok (after a while).

Great turn out from the town lads, see you all at Orient. Could do with a lift for it though... Wink

According to someone on their forum, it was 524 (of which I was one).  Sounds about right.

Since most people don't get to the see the press links much these days, I thought this brief piece from Sam about last night was worth sharing:

With what seemed like a picnic area behind one goal, mixed seating and standing areas that look they were put together out of a bring and buy sale and a separate paddock with clubhouse and bar

Ended up in that clubhouse, £2.80 a pint and the natives were friendly enough

Loving what I'm hearing about Jake Reeves. Sounds like another sublime piece of work in the market by Cooper/Power.

Yeah, he looked really bright. And he represents the top-knot when he plays. I don't feel alone anymore!

Needs to sort out his hair....nobody seems to have mentioned that Anton Rodgers got on. Looked a bit rusty, but did OK.

At the end last night night we probably had a smaller team than Barca on the park.

Yeah he's looked great when I've seen him, I hope they add another 18 months to his contract as he does seem to have fit in already.
