I really wanted an Irish trip.
Don't we often do a tour somewhere, not always immediately announced, a trip to Waterford at least would make some sense for Power to swell the coffers over there? But aren't they mid season?

The squad will travel to La Manga for a week of fitness and team-building in preparation for the new season.

I'm surprised there's enough flat ground for a pitch in either Brimscombe or Thrupp. Brum on a Friday night could be worth a look.
Sounds like a dodgy midday ITV detective show. Never ever heard of it. Where is it?

Pitch is on levelled out land but still has a bit of a slope. It's next to the A419 and railway line a couple of minutes before you get to Stroud.

I didn't know that Jeremy Corbyn posted on here? Sounds like a dodgy midday ITV detective show. Never ever heard of it. Where is it?
The only Thrupp I know is near Kidlington, assume there must be another one?

Could it be Thrush? After all he’s an irritating cunt.

So what are the thoughts about two pre-season games on the same day? Hungerford and Salisbury will hopefully not be a massive test but a good thing for fitness.

I think we did the same last season? Or fairly recently at least. Although my memory may be failing me.
I think I recall the usual suspects complaining that it was incompetency from the club blah blah, as though they know more than the professionals.

Its a good chance to use all of the squad in 2 relatively tough games.

Well those usual suspects are of course fountains of knowledge with many many years in the game both playing and managing. I don't know why STFC haven't just given them the job already.

You might be thinking of 99/00 the last time we played 2 in a day twice.... but we were still then a Div 2 club, with a hefty squad. Although incompetency might have been mentioned, as we ended up in Admin and bottom of the league 13 points off safety... the TEF wasn't around then mind.

With Hunt saying that to bond with fans STFC are looking at playing friendlies at a local, grass roots level, how about STFC v a TEF XI.
Who’d make the starting XI? One suggestion per position.
I’d offer up SRK as Right Wing with Legends Lounge as back up
