I'll be there but I'm walking from Bedminster. It's quite a nice 90 minute walk as far as inner-city strolls go.

Never done rovers on the train before, what's the best way to do it? Train to parkway and taxi?

Yea probably, it's walkable from Parkway if you can be arsed but it is a bit of a trek

Hope it doesn't rain! Stokes Croft is an interesting area, quite like the murals there and plenty of watering holes.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

Tell me about it. As someone who lived in St Andrews, it's quite interesting to walk through at 11.30 on a Friday night. Can't remember a time I've walked through and NOT been accosted.

Unlikely, but if anyone is driving down from West Midlands/Warwickshire then let me know. Would be more than happy to pay petrol and provide inconspicuous company.Trains are woefully expensive, especially for a poor student as myself.
It's been a while since I've been to Rovers away. Last time was as a teen, where a certain Pat Kanyuka scored for us. Rickie Lambert scored for them and they equalised late on courtesy of Chris Lines... He's been a thorn in the side a few times since.

Train to Temple Meads, then get a Severn Beach line train to Montpelier, then pub crawl up the Gloucester Road. It's about a half hour walk to the ground if you don't stop for a drink.

Bus 73 from the road at the bottom of the incline gets you up Gloucester Road.
