Playing Rooney out wide is a mistake in my view.

I think you'll see a different United at Old Trafford.

They miss Vidic too.

Rooney has a great workrate tho as does Park so having them two on wings to get back and protect Evra & Hargreaves was the idea, to be honest they done a job didnt they, they drew a game in which they were second best in every area.

Agreed. A clean sheet at the Nou Camp is impressive.

Park was awful last night, a head less chicken, out of his depth.  Terrible performance.

Played for work rate though rather than ability, they knew he would put in a shift which he did.  Nani for 90 minutes would of been a liability out there and Giggs doesn't have the legs currently.

2nd leg tonight, Ronaldo said he would score in this match.

United need an early goal because Barca have the upper hand if they get an away goal.

Utd are dicing with death with this 0-0 away from home result, they've come unstuck using this tactic before and it wouldn't surprise me to see Barca take the lead tonight.  Whether Utd have enough in themselves to pull it around is anyone's guess.

I'm going for Utd to bounce back and win by a goal in a real entertaining game, Barca have talked alot of trash in the build up, will be interesting to see if they can back it up.

Tonight could go either way, but United are in a far better position tonight than they were this time last year when they capitulated in Milan. Put it this way, if Rooney and Vidic were injured last year they wouldn't have as many options as they do now.

I think Barca will score, it depends on how many united get... which all depends on what formation fergie plays. He needs to stick the the 4-4-2 that's served him so well up until now. Toon and Tevez up top, ron on the right, carrick and anderson in the middle etc etc.

Gonna be one hell of a game!

I don't think it was in the plan for Ronaldo to miss the penalty  Wink

0-0 is a great result in the first leg for the home side.
This could go either way, Barcelona are rocking in the Spanish leagues at the moment, but you just have to think they are saving all their performances for this match.
Its a non-betting game for me, so close to call.
