Then yes thats the one, go to control panel and uninstall the broadcomm driver fully, if it says delete driver then click on yes, reboot and reinstall the new downloaded driver (from where you saved it), resign in and hopefully thats it.
Several of the Windows 10 updates can have a similar effect and fuck up wifi.
Cool thanks for your help, I am off on holiday later so will probably leave the update until I get back in case I fuck it up! As per my earlier post since I started this thread it has behaved impeccably!
