I think the other player's faces says it all. That is horrific. Unfortunately many years ago my leg went the same way and I'm still paying for it now. Best of luck to the geezer - I hope he finds another career quickly.

I thought what happened after the tackle was worse - the commentator shouting an ecstatic 'yeah' when they confirm its broken leg, the bloke that is laughing about it and the team mate clapping the bloke who did it.

At least the challenge vaguely looked like a tackle. Worse one for me was that goalkeeper who nearly got decapitated and the ref didn't even give a foul. International match I think. France? Germany?
