Thanks - managed to get discharged this evening - although the staff were friendly and kind and my milk supply is sorted now there's no way on earth you can ever get any sleep on a ward?

The women in the bed next door to me birth story has literally mentally scarred me for life!!!  Eek

We tried to get one but they were all full the whole time - I kinda knew my chances of getting one were slim when a lady on my ward who's epilepsy was brought on by lack of sleep couldn't get one!

The bath rugby player & his wife managed though??

Haha just glad to be home and getting in our own routine! Hope it's all going good for you guys too? It's all such a blur!!! Nice blur though!!

My grandson was kept in last night because he had a slight cough & wasn't feeding properly, they have had to feed him through a tube, he is 5 weeks old today.

Yeah it's been great thanks, he's feeding well and putting on weight. Sometimes sleeps for up to 5 hours though the night too. Only downside is I have to go back to work soon.

Hope it all goes smoothly from now on - wait until you get your midwife visits and they tell you what you are doing wrong as a new mum...I remember it with our first so well (now 6)

Haha I'm signed off by the midwives now and the health visitors not so bad! Used to stress and upset me at first but learnt to just nod and agree then do whatever we think best now!

Spent the afternoon sorting through all Billy's gifts -.SO overwhelming - people are so generous!

I hoping that means 6 kids!

If so you should bottle your swimmers and earn a few a quid

Glad to hear he's in good hands.  Sounds like a temporary problem, but no doubt you'll be relieved he's getting the attention he needs.

He is all back to normal now, he was back out next day. I can't believe he is 2 months old next week. He takes after me though, cute, beautiful & can burp on cue.
