If word gets to your uni that you've been kicked out of halls and threatening hall-mates, they aren't going to be too chuffed with it.

Just out of interest, which halls are you in?

As for the house decision, I'd say it depends where the house is. Anywhere in Zone 1 or 2 and you can still maintain a good social life if you hang out in your mates' halls enough, as it's easy enough to get home late etc

I'm at International Hall, which is in Russell Square.

And the house is in Zone 2, but near the border with Zone 3.

Blimey, you got kicked out for losing your cool and sending a few texts? There were tons of fights in my halls last year with no consequences afterwards. In one of them somebody got their nose broken but our warden was making jokes about it at our next formal a few weeks later!

Is there definitely nothing else to this, like a sustained string of threatening text messages or something?
