He also says no contact was made on Monday to tell him that the deal wouldn't be completed in the time they said. Does sound like he would of stayed if contact was made.

I originally thought the "official notification" was regarding his re-instated resignation following the passing of the deadline. Re-reading that I'm not so sure.

The Friday thing is when they allegedly agreed he'd stay on (which PDC says was until 5pm Monday)

Who know WTF happened, and WTF is going to happen next!

Maybe we're missing a part of it, ie who was talking to who and what they said.

If Paolo gave the deadline to Team Black when he resigned, then maybe Team Jed didn't know about it.

Would make sense seeing as Paolo and Team Black appear to have had a massive falling out.
