Apparently he's a real speedster and has got some rave reviews.
Made his first team debut away to Chelsea so they obviously think highly of him.
Could be a real good signing
Christ knows what the team's average age will be come the first game

Anyone actually see him come on in that Chelsea game? I did and he was absolutely woeful. Played left-mid and was really out of his depth. Didn't get on the bench again.
But hopefully that's not representative and he'll be decent at L1 level. He's another Aussie too isn't he?

I think that has to be expected. A young lad making his debut for Liverpool against Chelsea, being played out of position.. he was bound to look like a headless chicken, he probably didn't even know where he was. His football was woeful but his energy levels and pace looked good, and he wasn't scared to put himself about, he just didn't know what to do when he got the ball.. That's 60/70% of what a decent full back needs there, passing the ball in league 1 shouldn't be as daunting as whether to pass to Steven Gerrard or Louis Suarez

Haha I remember that. We nicknamed him Bad Smith in our household

The idea of Andy Williams being the senior pro in the squad is concerning to say the least...

There were Busby's babes ... we've got Kooper's kids. Or Power's prepubescents, you choose.

James Turley joining bristol rovers. Previously linked with us. Michael Smith of Rovers joining pboro which should knock one club out of the rumoured running for Nathan Thompson.

Appears to be some confusion over the Smith deal

Peterborough love a farcical transfer, Barry Fry chancing again. Rovers' Darrell Clarke... The board are staying strong on the fee and, if I’m being honest, I don’t know what Peterborough are messing about at.
That is the way they are conducting their business, but the chairman wants his demands met or Michael will remain our player.
