I have, on many occasions admitted he has proved me wrong...but to say he was outstanding for England is over the top.

He scored, he played alright....against two teams that are no better than Sunday league teams...

He was far from outstanding for England, and he was totally rubbish yesterday....

Macedonia are way better than sunday league but whatever, I think saying he was outstanding is far closer to the truth than people saying 11 goals in 10 games is "pathetic" or "he's shit".

Neither of which I said, I just said he wasnt very good yesterday and he got shown up by AJ.

Macedonia are hardly world beaters....but Andorra were a bunch of part timers.

His record is good, alot of goals have come against poor team though.

but...he was never outstanding in the last 2 games, no one was....no one needed to be
