Since all those attempted gladiator epic style jobbies (Kingdom of Heaven, Troy, etc.) were all a bit shit and didn't do that well it's all been low risk remakes and sequels. The last time there was a film out that I wanted to see was Star Wars epIII and that was a rare jobby in a few years.
