I can't believe the coverage is so bad!  Radio Swindon haven't even mentioned a scoreline! Funny considering how they always have time to mention what goes on in the Hellenic Premier during Swindon commentary on a Saturday!

The players betting start gelling together soon, pre season friendly it may be but I want some confidence to take into the start of the season.

Title: Bideford Match Thread
Post by: unclemark on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, 21:09:18
It is him that needs to perform and come up with some good tactics rather than this long ball shit we usually end up playing.

Fucking hell edinburgh and nozza it's a pre season game, one of 4 this week, i hope you're joking!  :wall:   The interesting thing is we had a keeper on trial so Bulman might not have made the grade. Michael Jordan would need to take a big wage cut though.

Title: Bideford Match Thread
Post by: Reg Smeeton on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, 21:35:26
We didn't  lose.... Cureton, wants us to have an unbeaten pre season so we're on course.... can't see us getting anything at Crawley mind.

We were without Migs and Whalley, so must have been Pook, as the only recognised midfielder.

I don't expect us to get anything from Crawley.

Doesn't fill you with confidence when your not expecting to get anything from Crawley...

That makes me feel better. Nice to hear Wells had a good game, and Woan played some of the second half!

Bulman worries me though, I'll be interested to see how Jordan does on Thursday, we need better competiton for Rhys, and better back up as well.

A decent display from a youthfull midfield.Theres always positives to take from pre season games. If we can just get this hard man midfield type then all will be fine in my opinion.

Im going outside to do a little dance.

For what its worth we won the corresponding fixture last year 5-2...with Grunt Sniff, bagging a brace.....which is probably why King started him at left back v Wrexham.

And Grant Smith played a big part in city's 3-2 defeat to Clevedon the other day.
