Summer of Noughtie Nine

Shame the kids who were given the free tickets on the Bank had to watch that performance. Not even a Town goal to celebrate. I wonder if they'll be back? At least they got some free percussion lessons.

At least it will set their expectations for the coming years. We've had a barrel load of shit for years, why shouldn't the new generation?

I guess the kids must have counted towards the final attendance figure - otherwise there was no way there was over seven thousand in the ground.

I don't STFC should be used as an example of how to accurately record attendances at games (by paying customers or not) given our past record.

Oh, right. Lack of roof would be an issue on a cold rainy day. Unless you mean for adults. In which case fair enough.

I agree.

I disagree. It should be done for every away game.

At least the poor little buggers won't get depressed.

I remeber my son's first game watching Town.
We beat Grimsby at home 2-0, and I remember telling him not to expect it every week.

Ten years later the poor lad's got used to us being shite.
The opening game this season didn't help after watching us lose 5-0 as one of his classmates is a Gillingham fan. Doh
