Just seen the highlights & that's a shocker on Vigs. If he'd have stayed down probably the Oxford twat would have seen red. Still can't justify his reaction though.
This.

Raising your hands has one outcome.  Vigs' sending off was a truly brainless reaction.  Rolling around in oscar winning agony  is the correct reaction (as so ably demonstrated by the Pox minutes earlier with Jones' sending off).

Whatever other notable assists were made, Vigs also deserves full credit for the second Pox goal.  He could have cleared it at an angle away from goal but chose the high risk option beloved of Swindon's defence.  It could have gone anywhere?  Yes indeed and it did - into the back of the net, avoidably so.

I appreciate why Vigs is Teflon coated but he let us down in the second half, pure and simple.  There is a great opportunity for Henry now but really we need our best players and Vigs is not challenged by Henry - yet.

Harsh on Vigs imo, the backpass sold him short

It would be good if we turned up against the scum. They haven,t won these games, we've lost them. In this case through sheer brainless stupidity. I think we'll do ok this season but the fans really need the team to compete against the scum.

I think 90% of us probably expected to lose yesterday so no real shock. It's crazy how much luck those cunts get against us though. Nothing goes our way at all.

Am I imagining it or do we have some 'history' with Attwell?

Looking at highlights i think Vigs was a second yellow so should only be 1 game ban. Looked a horrible challenge on him and I'd suggest that should have been a red as well.

Unless someone else got booked too, it was a second yellow.  Unfortunately, the Checkatrade trophy is a standalone competition from a disciplinary point of view. The 1 game bans will have to be served next weekend in the League.

I assume that the player committing the foul got booked?

He did, but after the red had been shown to Vigaroux. There was a yellow shown to someone before the red, which I'm assuming (hoping) was to Vigs.

I don't remember Vigs being booked earlier in the game, did he get a yellow for his reaction and something he said to the ref perhaps?
