As much as I, like everyone else, have been mightily unimpressed by Pitman so far I think we have to give him a run. We need him to come good if we're going to improve as a side. Binning off our marquee signing after a few bad games and without any real alternatives (Hope is okay, better off the left, Smith is injured) would be tough.

Same here. Pitman might have a blinder now.
I hope he does! I wish rather than post a list of names in number order they’d set it out the formation or something.
What do we suspect it is?
I would think Odimayo will be right back and Donue left back. Kovar Odimayo Baudry Grounds Donohue Grant M Smith J Smith Payne Hope Pitman

I would rather have sacrificed Pitman and played Haines.
I would have sacrificed anyone. Never been so disappointed in a signing for a very long time. Stealing a wage and does not look interested.

Looks about right. Don't think it will be 2 up front, purely because Hope is better out wide

If Sheridan was set on playing this formation I’d rather have Joel Grant up front than Pitman at least he will run. You just can’t play a guy that barely moves from the start IMO as puts us straight on the back foot.

3-4-3 or 3-5-2 I hope. 3 at the back at the very least, gotta start keeping clean sheets

This sadly. It just feels like playing with 10 men when he clearly contributes fuck all.

I thought more Kovar Odimayo Baudry Grounds Smith Smith Grant Donohue Payne Pitman Hope Which for the record, I think would be an awful choice but feel it might be what we are doing. Maybe swap Payne with Smith

Maybe a Lazarus/Fjortoft performance is just 90 minutes away. 🤞

I thought more
Kovar
Odimayo Baudry Grounds
Smith Smith Grant Donohue
Payne Pitman Hope

It could be that too, we won't see until they kick off I expect and if its not working then they could swap to the other formation. Rovers do crowd out the midfield, it does surprise me that we have 2 fullbacks on the bench but no midfielders, could have had Haines there instead of Hunt or Caddis. As it stands we have 1 keeper, 4 defenders and 2 wingers on the bench.
