Not real until the scarf over head pics. Hopefully that will rule him out of a return to us then.
Might give us 6 months respite until he leaves them by mutual consent (not sacked honest!)

Matty Taylor gets the Walsall job
Really really bizarre. The Exeter board have just said they are going to back him financially this season with a big push to get promoted. I wonder why Walsall are seen as a better bet to him than Exeter. Pretty brave move by Taylor.

Sorry all, I have been reading some football forums recently and they had all assumed it was the Exeter Matt Taylor!
Good luck Matt, would have been a great appointment here.

I have been reading the Walsall forum which stated it definately was the Exeter manager and not our ex player but now that seems to have gone the polar opposite and it is our ex Matty Taylor! Confusing to say the least when even their own fans have no idea which one it is! https://upthesaddlers.com/t/next-manager/6394/1111

I wonder when there was last a game between two clubs whose manager had the same name?
I know we had Manuel Pelligrini vs Mauricio Pellegrino in the Prem a few years back (with Mauricio Pochettino also floating around) but can't think of another exact match.
