Fuck off, we were lush under Byrne last year!
I hope that the board dont opt for what is basically the fundamentally cheapest appointment again because it won't work. Lets see some ambition.
and the cheap option is byrne

Our performance at home to Swansea last season with 10 was excellent

He signed Cox, McNamee & Timlin technically.
He put young Sean Morrison he's only 17 in the first team

We beat Rovers away and we beat Port Vale 6-0
Its not much, but a few of those things will be remembered. I reckon the Swansea game was our best performance last season
Performance against Huddersfield in the first half, a match ruined by the ref if I remember rightly

I'm seeing a jan/fb dell/reg double header duel with old-fashioned pistols in the centre circle at half time tomorrow. Combine that with the fucking seal juggling and we're on to a winner entertainment-wise. If that don't get the crowds coming back, nothing will
That moment has passed Paul (I hope). I've got a meal to go to tomorrow night, and I don't fancy my chances.

any of us watching training would have played morrison by now. byrne was in charge of the swansea game.and the signings mentioned would have been made anyway. malpas's signings leave alot to be desired

He shares a name with a prison? Holloway, not Ian. Although they should name prison's after bloke's names, like Ian. Then when some bloke comes out of clink he'll have to tell people "I spent 5 years inside Ian, yeah it was alright..." Would always make you smile inside, as you wouldn't want to upset the nutter you're talking to.

I think at this level you need a name bigger than the players... Wise, Sturrock and dare I say Kingy etc command respect from the players just because of who they are, we all know who Ollie is and thus I bet he'd get more from the players than Malpas, or say Iffy, - it's widely suggested the squad had no time for him. I'd fucking love a random appointment of a big name with no previous... someone like Teddy Sheringham or Martin Keown, won't happen though.
