For people with a better memory than me, how many games did Cantona get banned for his kick? Petty sure it was 9 months but that included the close season too.
From a quick Google it was 8 months which included the close season. Don't think he would get off so lightly today and if I'd had my way he'd have been banned for life - the same as a fan would have been for running on to the pitch and attacking a player. |

Cantona should have got a reward for doing what he did. That prick of a supporter deserved every bit of what he got. Cantona should have lumped that silly old bag who started off thinking it was funny when the abuse was being dished out.
