At the risk of posting something quite nice, John Trollope, Don Rogers and Chris Kamara all at the unveiling of the legends mural today.

that's cool. Didn't know it was happening so thanks for posting

Yeah I hadn't seen that it was happening anywhere either - but seems like some people did at least!

An 88th minute Tomi Adeloye shot, after he came on as sub, is handled over the bar giving Partick Thistle a penalty which was converted for a win vs the Spartans in the Scottish League Cup yesterday, a penalty that proved to be the winning goal.

Instant impact!! Don't think Jeff Cott had as much fun yesterday. Saint John Stone losing at home to lowly Stirling.

When Tomlinson came back for the 2nd time he was playing in a very poor side. We saw first time around that he had talent. In a small squad, we need versatile players, and a guy that is genuinely two footed, and could cover both wing back positions, full back if we switch to four at the back, and filled in at centre back in a 3 last season, is good to have *if* he’s fit. Those injuries are a concern, but if it’s true that he’s otherwise been fine, I vote get him in.

Depends on the cost with JT.  If he was a free transfer (which he won’t be) then it would be worth a punt.

The problem is, in a relatively small squad (which the manager says he prefers) you don’t want someone who might miss a lot of games

I agree cost and fitness are key.

I think this was mentioned by someone else on here but Tomlinson scored a brace for Peterborough the other day. A few fans can’t see why he wasn’t starting in their team.
As also mentioned I think he’s on the transfer list because he has a year left on his deal and that how the club operate.
Apologies if I’m rehashing something just said.

Just saw a post that it was 21 years ago today that we signed Sam Parkin.
Let’s hope any players we may sign today have the same impact

I just came across an old team sheet and saw a name that I’d completely forgotten from very recent history… Jonathan Grounds. Shudder.
Exeter fans loved him!

Pierce Sweeney signs a contract extension to make it 10 years at Exeter City without break...oh wait a gosh darn minute....something wrong there.....

Matej Kovar lined up for a perm move to Aston Villa or Cadiz or possibly a loan move to Hull City.

Fair play to him. Wrong time for a loan here for him, obviously got something about him.

That defence in front of him certainly didnt help!

He must have something about him he just never showed it with us, Man Utd fans were pretty scathing in criticism about his performance in the friendly last week he played in vs Lyon.

Might be one of those players that shows something in training and coaches/managers keep taking a chance on him even though it baffles every fanbase.
