When most fans wanted Lindsey out, we didn’t know half as much as we do now about the total clusterfuck the club is behind the scenes.
We had just missed out on getting to Wembley, and wanted/expected the club to be pushing on and moving forwards. I don’t think we were wrong to want more than we were getting.
I still don’t believe Scott Lindsey was the answer, however, he also wasn’t the issue.

….obviously Lindsey’s tenure also coincided with Sandro joining & I guess we still don’t ultimately know how the recruitment actually worked and who dictated what type of players we bought in.
I’m sure at some point Lindsey said he went to Sandro with a list of the type of player he wanted & that he wanted small technical players but whether that was him just taking the hit or not….who knows.
Even more bizarrely we absolutely spanked Crawley when we played them at home
