This club is definitely going in the right direction now. What we need to do next is stop being such a selling club. Players at this level have a price I know that but we should set that price and stick to it.
If we want 2m for Ritchie then we say that and don't accept a penny less.
I think we already do that. We say stupid things in the press like Ritchie is worth 2 million. But we must have a realistic price in our minds. Its also hard to stop being a selling club when a player wants out. I think we showed we had changed in this area when we let Paynter's contract expire in the pursuit of promotion. We could have tried to offload in January (of course we may have, who knows). |

Also, we let Paynters contract run down. If we'd offered him an extension the previous summer, well who knows....

I thought Magera had a good game last night, he held the ball up really well.
Gabi impressed me as well, it's beginning to look like we have a decent squad, and not just a good starting 11.
Also, is it me or pretty much every ground we go to now, the home team always seems to have a drum. It does my fucking head in. They shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football ground.
