If I opened up an English takeaway in Old Town offering a limited menu of

Beef stew (cooked in ale) / Sausages and gravy / Slow cooked lamb shanks / Ham and eggs

with side options of

Chips / Mash

Would you all turn up?
I'd be there if you could eat in!

I had some nice sausages this morning, pork, leek and mustard. Don't even know if they were English but they were very nice indeed.

Well I was thinking the empty Pizza Box premises on Devises road. so a few seats but takeaway boxes to eat on your way being the key business.

Tempted to ditch ham and eggs for a Chilli. Don't have to train staff to slice or fry then.

Add "a big fuck off home made slab of bread" to the side options.

Had a 24oz T- bone a few years ago in Polperro, I didn't even touch the side salad and fries that came with it ! Don't even know if you can get T-bone steaks now, not on the bone anyway.

Oh the memories.

A 'phat boy' from Jakes would always suffice.

I find Jakes way overpriced.

Fat Mama's was king however it appears to have closed down last week. Whilst pretty drunk I very nearly cried. we're all praying it just a referb.

Is that the one near Roundy? Really narrow inside. That opened while I was in Plym.

A friend who still lives there told me University Wines was gone and it's now a Chris Shorey (shudder) building.
