Brian "The Weighty Winger" Howard joined the club back in July 2003, after turning down a contract from Chelsea much like Lloyd "the ledge" Opara.
He was an instant hit with the fans who loved his no nonsense style, hard graft and determination when faced with massive queues for a burger under the Arkells stand.
His teamwork was such that he would often help the semi retarded staff hand out burgers, pies and bovril to the awaiting crowds, even at one atage sacrificing himself for the common good and giving the last steak and onion slice to a young boy named Timmy O'Toole.
Young Timmy went on to become the founder member of the Brian Howard fan club, and 6 months after his catering debut he made his first start for the mighty Swindon Town.
The remainder of the season was an up and down afair for Brian, scoring several vital goals but also being banned for 7 games by the FA for butt fucking Sammy Igoe near the town end after a particulally sexy short corner routine.

Jon Stevenson - Jon was one of the unsung heroes at the county ground and doesn't recieve the recognition he deserves for his achievement of almost single handedly guiding Swindon to the playoffs in his first full season at the club.
With his premiership quality performances Stevenson was a rock in the Swindon attack, despite only starting one game the facts speak for themselves.

A coincidence? I don't believe in them.
It's a remarkable record and all Swindon fans should be grateful, Jon we miss you! Rumours of a return this January proved to be greatly exaggerated which was hugely disappointing for many fans.
