So what's Kevin Mac been doing since leaving Villa then? I like the sound of him very much I have to say.

I wouldn't trust Ian wright working in Macdonalds, let alone instead of him.

I have been reliably told that John Gregory will not be coming to Swindon Town, despite his odds being slashed this afternoon #stfc

BBC Wilts seem to assume Macdonald will be the man.

@jiminchina I don't know who it is. I am leaning towards MacDonald but that's just intuition.

My preferred option out of the two.

Question is, which manager is best placed to sell their image rights to fund Navarro's tummy tuck?

As my posts earlier in the season had Brighton and Palace doing nothing in the Championship and us being in the top two without any problems, I must go for Wright!

My preferred option out of the two.

I'd rather give Jamie Pitman the nod until summer than risk Wright to be honest. MacDonald could be an inspired choice given his reputation as a coach... But then Malpas came with a similar cv!

I don't know about Wright, I've never liked him and found his whole TV personality years irritating as fuck. Surprised that it would take him 13 years before deciding to try out management.

MacDonald sounds like a decent shot.

I'd be happy with MacDonald to be fair...comes as a coach looking to get into management, and a great opportunity for him. I think he'd have contacts in the game having managed under people like Martin O'Neill. If it is him, lets hope he can hit the ground running and get a result at Coventry on Saturday! C.O.Y.R!
