I will be very happy as long as its not one of Butcher, Stein, Newell, Mcdonald, Taylor.

Preferred choice being Tisdale along with Hasselbaink, Sherwood, Adkins (won't happen i know).

Steve Cotterill are you having a laugh? Speak to Forest, Burnley, Portsmouth fans etc about him, only done well at Cheltenham, as for McDonald very good coach but terrible manager failed at Carlisle as manager.
He was never manager at carlisle.

Kevin MacDonald has never managed anywhere except as a caretaker...

You are right was thinking of Neil McDonald.

If possible it would be Curbishley or Owen Coyle for me , give em til the end of the season with a nice bonus for getting us up and then re-evaluate. But i would love Ole gunnar .

Cotterill is not a bad manager IMO, I doubt there would be any comp for QPR due to him being on the coaching staff and a lot of ex managers have a clause in their contract stating they are allowed to leave for free if a managers job comes up.

Anyone mentioned Steve Burr. I'll throw his name into the mix. He's Scottish too, should go down well with the fans.

Just over 40% win rate in his whole career, you're easily impressed.

According to the article below, it's not a permanent arrangement:

More to it than that though. Had some tough jobs at clubs in trouble when he took the reigns.

What's Tisdale's win ratio?

True he must have had a hard time at Pompey, but his record at Forest is no better.
