Not to me it doesn't. He may be brilliant, but good coaches don't always equal good managers. I just feel we need someone who has done it a bit before, 12 games as caretaker doesn't meet this. Just my opinion |

Kevin MacDonald would be a wierd if interesting one, never managed a club yet only as a caretaker but might be worth a gamble till the end of the season anyway.
Done a while as assistant but as stated elsewhere being a good number 2 does not automatically mean you will be a good manager.
I will not write him off before he signs anyway, despite him not being Adkins who is wholly improbable for many reasons, but I feel a lot of people will not be happy unless it is Adkins...deluded or what...
